Dioxane Danger - What You Should Know!

Dioxane Danger - What You Should Know!

Dioxane is a nasty carcinogenic chemical that is commonly hidden in laundry detergent and cleaning products!

According to the CDC, 1,4-Dioxane (C₄H₈O₂) is a colorless liquid or solid at cool temperatures (below 53°F). It can harm the eyes , skin, lungs, liver, and kidneys. 1,4-Dioxane may cause cancer.

🧺 This will not typically be listed under ingredients on your product labels!

The chemical 1,4-dioxane tends to be present when a product has been through an “ethoxylation”process to produce inexpensive cleansing agents.

Scout for ingredients ending with -eth, -oxynol, -xynol and those containing the words laureate, myrrh, ceteareth or oleth.

These specific Dioxane producing ethoxylates are commonly found in laundry detergents & you should avoid them:
* Sodium Laureth Sulfate
* Laureth-6 & Laureth-7
* C12-16 Pareth
* Polyethylene Glycol (PEG)
